Panera Bread wanted to move into the technical age and be ahead of their customers by providing a kiosk that would alleviate line congestion within their stores. The kiosk’s main goal was to give users the same experience as ordering with a direct worker at the register. While working for a mobile agency, I served as the Senior Product Designer for this 0-1 initiative. My responsibilities included shaping product strategy, defining the MVP scope, conducting competitive analysis, and establishing success metrics for go-to-market. I led cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to align business objectives with customer needs, defined the product roadmap from concept through launch, and created the design framework that informed both the kiosk app and catering website experiences. I drove design reviews to ensure market readiness and validated design decisions against core business goals of reducing wait times and improving order accuracy.
